ELINA GOLDE

Elina is a NYC based actress and a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.

Prior to acting Elina built a career as a ballet dancer performing with the world-renowned American Ballet Theatre. She was the first ballerina from Finland to join the company. Elina was the recipient of the "Igor Youskevitch Award" in New York and the "Pro Dance Award" in Helsinki.

  Having lived in different countries, Finland, Russia, Holland and now the United States Elina considers herself a global citizen.

Elina began her ballet training in Helsinki at the age of 9. As a young promising dancer she received a scholarship and completed her training at ballet programs in Paris, Cannes, Copenhagen and Amsterdam. 

Elina started her professional career in her teens with the Finnish National Ballet and was shortly after invited to join the American Ballet Theatre in New York City. 

 

  After spending a decade with ABT and touring the world Elina discovered her love for acting.

The transition to film felt natural as she began collaborating with filmmakers incorporating dance in film as well as acting in independent projects.

Elina has studied (and continues to study) acting with some of the best teachers in NYC with a focus in film and TV (Bob Krakower, The Barrow Group, Heidi Marshall to name a few).

 

Elina’s latest TV credits include Guest Starring roles in "Law and Order" (NBC), "The Big Leap" (FOX), and Co-Starring role in FBI (CBS).

Elina played a supporting role in a multi award-winning short film “Hedgehog”. Hedgehog had its West Coast Premiere in Hollywood at the Chinese Theater June 26th, 2023 and became an Oscar Qualified film for the 2024 season.

 

Elina has appeared on many dance magazine covers and modeled for BRIDES, CR Fashion Book, Vogue Online and InLove Magazine. She has done commercials for IQOS, Under Armour, Rag and Bone and she was the face of Health Lab Vitamin Water National Campaign in Finland.

 

During her ballet career Elina was interviewed for Cosmopolitan (Finland), Helsinki Times, YLE National Radio (Finland), Gloria Magazine, Fitness Magazine and was mentioned in “Best Dance of 2015” article in The New York Times.

 

In addition Elina has done collaborations with brands like MAC Cosmetics, Capezio, Joe Blasco Cosmetics and Discount Dance.​
